Change the x or y position in the room editor for the view in room and portion on screen. The portion on screen is really what adds another view, while changing the position will let you see what the view size will be once you run the game.

In the view settings, you are going to want to change the x,y values to where you want the view to appear, then you just need to adjust the height and width of the view so it will fit properly. Hopefully this is a bit more helpful.

So in the room editor, you have a view in room and port on screen. The variables for port on screen will be where the view appears on the screen. The view in room for x and y coordinates is almost useless unless the view is not going to follow another object. The width and height of the view should be the same as the width and height of the port (although the values can be different to make something like a map). If I wanted view[1] to appear to the side of view[0], then I would set the port on screen x for view[1] to 320 or 640 or something. That way, it will appear next to view[0].
