The other day, I was think about a game that I really wanted, but didn't exist.

So I made it.

And this is the result.




Fast paced space shooters R us.

The game features fast-paced gameplay, a few very difficult achievements and flashy effects... and not much else to be honest.

Compiled with GM8.1 - it probably works on vista, but I haven't tested.

Remember, I made it for myself, not for others, and I probably won't update it unless it gets really popular. The game was made in four days, and it is very small.

A simple shooter, but it works well enough. The primitive graphics (for the player object and the incoming missiles) could be replaced to get a more interesting appearance. But the stark black-and-white has its appeal too. So it's OK as it is.

The "static" sounding 'hits' were a bit annoying, so I might have chosen a different sound effect. But that's just a matter of taste.

Overall, an acceptable game.

Very very simple and basic shooter. I don't know why, but I did enjoyed it. Gameplay was smooth.
If you want to waist a minute or two, this game is fun as it is. But to make it interesting, you need more different enemies, and maybe something else...
(Btw, those achievements are not achievable in 2 minutes - which means, most people will never achieve them...)
