To give you a little background information on the issue, the objects I am joining are a bird's body and a bird's wing.
In the bird's body create event:
In the bird's body step event:

Basically I'm trying to determine whether or not this is a problem with GM Studio, or a problem with my code. Other than this, the IDE is looking great, and I'm happy with the purchase.
