i am 100% unable to make a simple pure square wave without fl studio turning the velocity into complete randomness. i get clicks every time. :wallbash:  the notes i need are A7 and G7. I am remaking Super Mario Bros 3. (it will be open source.) I'm using DJRellik's engine to do it. however, i had to replace nearly all the sounds due to them being a low quality. the only sample left to replace is the p meter sound. i don't care if the timing isn't perfect, as long as it is almost as fast as the original sound, which is very fast. i don't think that this is a problem with gamemaker, because it happens in fl studio as well; when i play the rendered sample, setting it to loop automatically, it sounds clicky. the VST i tried using is WASP.

Hey, check out this VST. If FL Studio still messes with it, then I'll make it for you, but it's a handy little VST to have.

Im not sure what kinda clicks your using. but as a breakbeat producer... (you might not have the proper set up for Flstudio)..

Speaking of which means 1.) proper sound card, 2.) setting asio properly 3.) understanding fresh rate..

the clicks are what I'm trying to get rid of. i use asio full duplex since its faster than asio for all. choosing either one makes no difference. I'm sure that the clicks are not a result of lag. if they were, they would not be there on the rendered sample.
here is an image better explaining the problem. i wish i could post it directly but i don't know any image hosts. if anyone does, let me know.
Download problem.png from Host-A the BPM in the project is 107. the total length of the notes are 1/4 beat.
EDIT: i dont wanna bump to reply to one person. if anyone wants to have at it, here's the link for the fl file and the rendered samles. Download p_meter.rar from Host-A
