you know, i thought of that myself and found that places like kongregate and newgrounds have their own API and ways of making games. Unfortunately, game maker wasn't one of them. You can always upload it to the yoyo website.

You could always upload it to a file-hosting. If you want, make a video of the game, put it on your site, and have a download link available next to it. That's what I do.
And next time, put this in the appropriate topic forum. So this would have gone under Questions and Answers.

HTML5 games can be placed on Kongregate, and I'm sure many other sites are opening their doors.
Also: Publishing/sponsoring opportunities.

My games site accepts GM made compiled games - providing they are of reasonable quality.
There is a link in my signature.
Alternatively you can create a PAD file for it and submit this to other download sites and software repositories.
The ASP (Association of Shareware Providers) maintains an online list with over 6,500 sites.
Software Download Sites
Some sites charge but most are free and I have never felt the need to pay to have mine listed.

Well, you could start by uploading it to my new website, if it's an executable game for Windows
It accepts any game as long is it doesn't break any rules/laws, and you can choose if you want it to be free or if you want to sell it.

There are also other websites that allow you to upload your game. Or you could make your own website and host it there.
