Hello, when I first installed GM8.1 it asked if I want all updates or only stable ones. I clicked stable at first, but now I can't get 8.1.91, I am only at 8.1.141. I have tried re-installing and it does not ask me if I want to install certain types of updates. How do I make it update to 8.1.91?

Okay, so I found the icon where I changed to the beta update channel, but now it simply won't update. I click check for updates and nothing happens.

Also it looks like the downloads for all of the versions were taken down. I'm very disappointed about the support of GM8.1 for Windows. I feel like the devs do not care about it any more. I just payed $40 for this to get this....

As i experienced gm 8.1.41 is stable than gm 8.1.91....
in gm 8.1.91 after saving the gmk 2-3 times and then opening it, the gm shows file is courpted..
So gm 8.1.41 is best

Well the thing is, Anti-decompiler does not work with my current version, which is the main reason for me wanting to upgrade.

I suppose I could just use Obfuscator.

Why are you using 1.0.91, the latest and most stable is 1.0.141?

Check which channel your on and switch to BETA if your now. I'm not sure if this one has been move over, but its very stable.

Just for future reference: If you ever want to downgrade your GM version, go to Help > Release Notes in GM. This opens up a website which contains information on every GM 8.1 version. The header of each version includes a download to the respective version.

But yeah, as Mike already said, your version is the newest one, anyway (141 literally means "one hundred and fourty-one", and therefore is newer than ninety-one). About the Anti-decompiler thing... I wouldn't place any bets on it, but since it's been so long since the Anti-decompiler was released for 8.1.91, there's a good chance that it's already been hacked again. I could say the same about 8.1.141, though, since it seems like it's the last update that came out for 8.1 and it has also been quite a while since its release. If you really want your game to be safe from decompiling, you just don't release it. I know that this doesn't fix the problem, but I'm just trying to make it clear that even the Anti-decompiler won't protect you from someone who's really eager to get your source code. The obfuscator will render the source impossible to read and learn from for normal users, but not impossible to steal, so if you want to prevent that, it will not help you at all.
