I wish the Room Editor had a rectangle draw tool where you click and drag and it selects a region which is filled with the current tile. Filling large regions with the same tile can get pretty tedious right now.

Don't you hold down SHIFT for that?

No, When you press SHIFT its to put continuous tiles/objects, what he/we are requesting is that example you press CTRL and move the mouse around and it will create the tiles from x1,y1 (the initial mouse position when you pressed CTRL) to x2,y2 (the final mouse position when you unpressed CTRL).

That's..actually a good idea. Make a bug tracker account and submit it as a wish/suggestion.

Outstanding idea. Just straight up drawing ellipses, rectangles, and lines with clipping would be amazing. Totally doable from my guestimation but low priority indeed.

Also a bucket tool, to fill all the "squares" of the room with the same tile.

This is already integrated :P. you just need to define that tile as a background :P

It's a lot better for performance if you just make a new tile as large as the area you want to fill.

+1, this feature is standard on nearly every engine, no idea why it has not been implemented in GM yet.

But you can do that if thetile is in a tileset, to set as background you have to have one image with only the tile you want to put, also the "bucket tool" works a little diferently than that.

Imagine you draw a square with tile X, and the inside poart of the square is empty, using the bucket toll you would fill all the empty espaces inside the box, but not outside.Using background would cause to all spaces be the tile you selected.

Give Mike and Russell a few days to get to this guys, they're still working on the MakeMeAnMMORPG-button you requested last time.
