Hello guys,

I wish I had a different story to tell, but here is what is happening: after the last GMS update, after compiling one of my projects with the HTML5 module, the output shows nothing but the tiled background — no paddle, no ball, no anything (yeah, it's a Breakout clone).

Funny enough, when I launch the ball, even though nothing but the aforementioned background is displayed, I can hear the ball colliding against blocks and walls, which means the objects are there, nonetheless. It seems to me like the depths got messed up, perhaps.

The Windows and Android modules output fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you all in advance.

Best regards,
Pedro

Turn the tiled background off, and tell us what you see.

Hi Desert Dog,

Once more, thank you for the reply.

I have removed the tile generation code (a very simple script to repeat the same tile all over the background) and, after recompiling, all I see is the background color defined in the room settings. Nevertheless, if I press the button assigned to launching the ball, I can still hear the collisions.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,
Pedro
