I had my first computer job today. They kept getting the firefox "The Site Cannot be Trusted" warning with HTTPS. It took me a bit to figure it out but I realized after I downloaded Chrome and got the same message that their clock was set to 2004. (It was XP). So I made $30 in 30 minutes, not including friendly chatter. It went a lot better than I expected and I hope this is the first of many computer jobs because I don't get paid nearly enough at my day job (Paintball referee).
So any experience with computer jobs? Any tips?
First computer job!

The biggest secret of the computer repair industry is that if you have access to Google, a solution to almost any software problem can be found relatively quickly.

I realized that one. I feel so unprofessional researching things when the client is watching me though.
