Oh god... I once made a logic error that was so tormenting, that it came to the point where I though Game Maker was bugged...
I checked treat uninitiated variables as zero in the global options...
...then forgot it was checked...
I had a colour system for a few objects using image blending as well.
Then after a while when an object had an error in it, since treat uninitiated variables as zero was checked, it wouldn't tell me what the error is. And that is where things became out of hand...
The first object I created was now destroying itself randomly for no reason in game, and the image blending would always go black, I didn't know what the hell was going on and blamed Game Maker for bugging out...
This all lasted for two days with me freaking out as to why this was happening, as I was scurrying through all objects to locate the issue, I finally went into global options to notice that treat uninitiated variables as zero was still checked...
