What: Human
Description: A adult male, wearing a pilot uniform (space age) grey, and blue.
Colors: Human skin colour for the skin, and grey and blue for the uniform
Texture(if you have one): I think I will modify the file once finished for the texture. ( UV unwrapp, spec map, bump map, AO map etc)
File type: (.blend , .obj ,.3ds , etc) I would like the .blend
A reference image (if necessary) : This is the uniform im expecting.
UV unwrap models, if not ill just do it. Also If you could make the topology alright so i can rig it and animate it...

A human is not really a simple model, took me years to be able to create one Posted Image

Although if you are trying to learn, i wouldn't mind having a good sword model for any upcoming tasks...

What: A medieval knights sword.
Description: Pretty simple, a sword.
Colors: Steel Blade, Leather Hand-Piece
Texture: None
File type: .obj
no reference necessary make whatever sword you think would suit a good knight in his journeys Posted Image

Nice sword, might i ask why you are interested in 3d Modeling, if for GM gaming you really want to keep in mind that gm is not good with high poly models, so subdividing everything is not a good idea, try to keep it low poly.
Also check out the-blueprints.com for some awesome 3d references that helped me learn to model.
Much luck, if you need any advice pm me.

Yes that sword is indeed, high poly, 150 faces to be exact, you can look at the number of polygons/faces, points, and edges, somehow in blender, i use anim8or so i don't know exactly but theres a way. if i where to create a sword i would have it to be around 30 polygons. My tip for doing so with swords or any objects that consist of cylinders is instead use a cube not a cylinder as the poly count is about 10x higher with actual cylinders, especially in gm games the difference is hard to spot especially when the highest polygon amount is the hand piece that is not even in viewing site as it will be covered by a hand.
If completely necessary use a 6 sided cylinder at the max, as low-poly is the key. Also remember a model is only half of the process a perfect texture can make a simple shaped model a masterpiece.

Also i definitely recommend anim8or, soooo much easier to use and user-interface is basically drag and drop so to speak (it is very easy to use effectively).
idk what you use for texture but uv mapper classic is a good tool to utilize for uv unwrapping, gimp 2 is also a great texture creating program (its photo manipulation like photoshop) . A lot to learn but a Very fun hobby and or profession?

The polygons can be read at the top right of the blender interface. By rendering the model at an angle, you can resize the final image and make a sprite.
Also, if you want to get better, try blendercookie for tutorials and the best forum for blender is blender artists. Im a member of both site so you can ask my help if needed...

Also * again * leave organic modeling until you get better because organic models only look great with good topology. I cant do topology so i dont model organic.
