I have been using the game maker for a long time, but I'm now recieving the following error whenever I try to run a game:

D3D.CreateDevice() Error: Please check that your graphics card
meets the minimum requirements and that your drivers are
up-to-date. If your graphics card has little memory, try
switching your computer to a lower reolution.(Error:
-2005530518

And then of course, the game does not run. This occurs not only when I hit the run button, but also for previously made executables. I have no trouble with anything else on my computer, including watching videos or playing flash games. My computer says all my drivers are up to date and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game maker as well. Any thoughts as to the source of the problem, or possible solutions?

EDIT: If it helps, I have Windows Vista

Though my computer said all drivers were up to date, I looked up and downloaded one which fixed the problem. Thanks, it's all good here now. (Let's hope it stays that way.)
