Tank Razer is a game that I have worked on and "finished" many years ago.
It was pretty much done but I guess that's precisly why I still kept working on it.
As a finished game it was fun to experiment with and easy to improve.

The game is a racing shooter. You drive a tank while shooting at other players.

Here are the game features:
  • 8 different tanks described with 9 statistics.
  • 22 upgrades to tweak your tank.
  • 12 special pickup weapons.
  • 8 race tracks.
  • 8 players game. Up to 4 human players.
  • Implemented AI on 5 difficulty levels.
  • Keyboard, mouse and 2 gamepads control supported.

Nice little racing game, I like it. Would be very nice if you ported it to android. All it would need is a smidge of polish and an AI only mode for phones. You could make multiplayer for tablets. Of course Studio is not always in small devs plans. I am hoping to purchase it.

Im glad that you like it.

Unfortunately, indeed I dont have studio. Actually I dont even have GM8.
Im also not familiar with making GM games for phones.
How does it work with controls? You need 8 buttons to drive in Tank Razer. (I know I mentioned mouse but thats a pointer, two buttons and a scroll)
Regarding AI mode I think you just didnt try it. You can set up the game however you like including 1 player alone, 1 player vs AIs or even AIs alone (observer mode).

It'd be even better if you explained what the controls were. Or maybe I just couldn't find the HELP screen and/or instructions. I figured out the driving controls were the arrow keys (for player one). But I never found the keys to shoot.... so I gave up on that part.

But the game looks good. Good graphics, but an option to stay in windowed mode would be nice. The sound effects and music are OK (and I like the options to turn them off/on). Plus, you give the player(s) LOTS of options for gameplay, single/multi player, human, AI, track, weapons, etc.

That shows you put plenty of effort into this. So +1 for that.

The control keys are mentioned when you select them (the lowest option for each player in setup screen).
For control you need left/right steering, gear up/down, turret rotation left/right, cannon fire and special weapon.
I think youre right about the window mode... Ill try adding that when/if I pick up the project again sometime.
Thanks for the +1!
