You know, I don't remember specifically how I got to Game Maker, I don't think I was actually looking to make my own games, I specifically remember having no knowledge or interest in it previously. What I do remember is seeing the Game Maker link on Google and saying "Woah, Dad, did you know you can make your own games??" "Look what I made <insert completely unchanged 1945 tutorial here>" "Hey there's 3D stuff but I need pro... can I buy it please dad?" Boom. Now I'm here.

I'm occasionally interested in how old a particular member might be. So I might check their profile. But we already know the age distribution on the GMC.:

< 14 (14%)
15 - 25 (76%)
26 - 50 (9%)
> 50 (NPT)
