As the reply says, those features are not in GameMaker:Studio but will be considered for future versions.

Oh ok, I thought that an addressed issue was one that was in the update. Ok well I can't actually believe GM:Studio doesn't let you select multiple objects yet after all these years, seriously needs to be added :<
