I really like the GMC, and the kind members who have taken their time and effort to welcome us here. We always said that YYGF was just a non-biological, internet based, slightly disfuctional family. Now, we're part of the GMC, and we're a big, nonbioligical, internet based, slightly disfunctional family, minus the lag XD

I think this sums things up pretty well. We may have lost our home, but our family is still together. And that's what counts.

While we may not have everyone here, the large majority migrated, so the community is still as tightly knit as it was before.
Although we are missing a few of our... more "quirky" members.

So, was I the only one who was there for the big finale right when it happened?

I wonder if any of our 'quirky' members will join... ?

Well, since the forums are now null and void, we're Ex-YYGF members. Starting today, we're all new or returning GMCers.

Personally, I like it here. Like BlackEnergy said, it's time to start looking towards the positives. And I'm finding quite a few already.

Why download a massive 1gb file (Frola's backup), when you can browse the YYGF online, with all the lag of the real YYGF!

I'm glad to see some positiveness around here now. I will ask again, WHAT link?

You post what appears to be your website, which I assume links to a YYGF lookalike (or backup, I'm not gonna visit the site). Then you bring up some random comment about GMC wanting rid of YYGF in "the" link. You never specified what link you were referring to (so I assumed it was the GMC one, as you mentioned GMC not wanting it).
