Put a bit of effort into your topic man! We want nice formatting, a description of your game, screenshots, controls etc etc etc... If you can't put effort into your post (and in an empty forum too!) then who is going to make the effort to play your game?

Very nice game. I only played through the first 6 levels, but I like it so far. The challenges aren't that hard... which is good for me because I'm a klutz.

The game has a nice look and feel, and the controls worked well for me. So +1. It deserves to be featured. Nice job.

Thanks! A lot of effort went in to this game :D

And to the first two comments, post has been edited! Sorry about that, just got kinda lazy. The topic on YYGF was all detailed, couldn't bear to rewrite it all :/

Oh, Spirox :) How did you turn this little game with only 50 plays into a featured game with over 4000 plays and counting?

Congratulations, bro  I'll admit, I'm pretty jealous, but Paradox 2 definitely deserves it. You put in a lot of work, and you got a great game and a lot of plays in return :turned:

I'm looking forward to Paradox 3 :woot:

I am the victim of some unfortunate downrating :(

Figured enough time's gone by that I could go ahead and bump this bad boy!

As Paradox 2 nears the lucky 5,555 plays, a NEW project is being started! More info soon.

It would be really cool if you could make a version of this with some sort of character, instead of a ball, you know, to make it less typical and more creative! I'm not saying its a bad game, but two things it really needs is a story, a character, and a little more variety in enemies. If you want I could send you some high quality models for you to use (free, copyright free, meaning i expect no credit). I'm just trying to help you out. I know it can be rather upsetting to read this post especially since you have been working on this game and the original game for a long time. But don't need to take this as critisism, as it is ment to be positive! :D

I honestly think this game has amazing potential. I'd love to give you some high quality textures to replace the mincraft-ish looking ones. I could also add plenty of scenery, such as rocks, plants, bulindings, fences, etc.

Please note I'm not asking for your source. Anything you need to make this game all the more epic, feel free to request, I will make the models accordingly. :)

If you wimould like to see some of my recent work as proof of what I can model, feel free to send me a PM. ;)

But overall I love this game, reminds me a little of the PC/Mac/iOS game - "gerball".

I'm also not at all saying I'm better at 3D. So dont think of it as that. It takes a lot of work to make a 3d game in GM, which is probably why the graphics arent at your full potential, because a lot of the tine used to make this I'm sure wasn't even focusing on the graphics, such as coding the collisions, which I know can be a huge time sucker.

Quite cool. Oh, and there's currently a downrating epedemic. All of my games has been downrated too. So don't worry about that.

Tip: a character instead of a ball would make it easier to attach to the player. The easiest way I can come up with would be to give the ball a texture with eyes. And possibly add cat ears to it, too. Cat-ball-creatures are incredibly cute and need only a few more triangles than a sphere.

Probably for the same reason people cause trouble while unprovoked. That reason is not rational, whatever it is...

why do people downrate without playing a game?

Spitefulness or to give a game they like an unfair advantage. Since you can only rate a game once but there's no limit to your rate total, you can help a game more by lowering many other games' score than by actually voting for the game you like. Or, well, at least some people think so.
