Extension Error

I am creating a top-down library to be distributed through the Sandbox and GMC. Because I am constantly testing and altering the library I am required to update the file each often. But, often when I attempt to un-install the extension I will experience the error "List index out of bounds(1)", preventing me un-installing the extension and creating an extension of the same name. It is beginning to irritate me and I am unsure of the cause. Any help would be appreciated.
