But it's not steam in terms of sales. Terraform has been out for 1 month now and at <50 sold units, even though I got a very nice review from Indie Game Magazine.
I'm also using GamersGate but I have no sales figures yet. I doubt it's that many.
Getting in to Desura was very simple and they helped me out with any questions I had. I'm not sure if they reject a lot of games. Terraform was accepted pretty fast.
Hope this helps!

That is helpful actually, your game looks like its getting good ratings though! I'll have to get the demo. If you don't mind me asking, what percentage of the profit from the game do you get?

No problem!
I get 70% of the sales income. It's very acceptable considering the exposure I get from being on there. 70/30 split seems like the standard for most sites, it's the same at GamersGate.
Yeah ratings are certainly good and reviews are very positive too. Only complaint is that it's very difficult, and it is, but that can also be a good thing.

I did download your game demo. I'm already addicted! I will probably buy the full version.
70% is a very fair share of the profit. Thanks for your help!

Thank you! That's so great to hear.
When you clear the university part of the (full) game you can create your own levels to play and share. Preferably in the forums on my website: http://holgerssonent...ent.com/forums/ and/or on Desura
