Huh?I just think that Thomas hasn't had much of a say in the overall arc. He was such a great demon slave and I kinda liked his abilities to control rain and electric cords. Too bad his aura finisher just didn't match up against the Earth angels and he had to sacrifice himself to cast that gravi-spell.
I read the whole thing and have no idea who is Thomas...

It worked so well because jade is half-dog. HIC powers only work on animals and people wearing the headband.
Mind control is way overpowered.
I find this amusing because I was thinking "Jade is way too OP." and suddenly, it turns against the kids.
I think Jade is being controlled by Tavros's animal mind control in combination with Vriska's mind control.
Edit: I guess that was probably implied in your post

You know, the guy that was in peril and Victor had to come in and swat his vampiric minions out of the way just to get to the core of the "infinite zone" and save him. Which is no small task, I might add. Only Victor was able to do so. Thomas doesn't count because he had been captured by the infinity demons that dragged him into "infinite zone" with the help of Felicia's trap-spell. Which is when she unleashed the Earth angels that fought Thomas, where he sacrificed himself by performing the sacred forbidden gravi-spell.No, really, what?

Are we still talking about Homestuck? Because only damn thing I recognise are Earth angels...You know, the guy that was in peril and Victor had to come in and swat his vampiric minions out of the way just to get to the core of the "infinite zone" and save him. I feel like I missed a lot... How could I miss so much when reading it?

At first I thought this was a wrong topic. Now I'm just laughing so hard.

Hussie's going away for a few days at the start of March, so no updates then.
Good news: He's going to some convention or another. So a small portion of people can meet their favourite cartoonist!
If their favourite cartoonist is not in attendance, they can see Hussie instead. He will console them.

Jack.
What are you doing, Jack?
Stop that, Doc Scratch does not approve.
Oh, now you've blown it.
He's getting his broom.
Well done, Jack.
Well done.

Apparently the forum staff are running on valve time.
According to Rincebrain it's because of loading screens on tools being used at this point.
