A major improvement control wise and general gameplay wise since the first version Of that game I played. It's getting pretty good. If I may though, Xbox360 controller support would be awesome.
Otherwise it's looking pretty good. I like the music and the time passing. The monsters can become too crowded here and there. Perhaps some sort of flood control is in order or maybe that's by design. I don't know.

Good work. Keep it up.

Thanks slady, about the Xbox controller part, how can I add it? A dll? extension? just setting the joystick options?

If you have a corded xbox 360 controller it will hook up to a usb port and you can map it like you would a joystick or other game pad.
I've played around with it before but never finished a game I started with it.

SLIME!
I was not able to play much of it, mainly because it lagged horrifically. One frame per second.

Yeah the game really requieres a lot of memory, try closing other programs while playing the game.

I have, all of them. What on earth are you using for it to take so much memory? Even running Source with 379385 ragdolls doesnt take that much memory.

Maybe your computer is old, well runing more than 1 million instances isn't easy, I have improved the game (compared to the lag it had in previoous versions), Im also deactivating instances. Any tip to fix this?

Great game :)

There is less lag in this version, but still some room for improvement. The graphics and game play are awesome, but it needs a storyline to go with the game.

Updated!, added:
-Usernames
-Fixed lag 25-40% less now
-Added some online multiplayer support.
if someone wants to play with me just pm me, host the server and sure I will do,
WARNING Multiplayer is buggy, and can overwrite your save data, so backup your savefile before playing.

How on earth do you have 1 million instances at a time? This would not be such a problem in any other language, but this game maker. It is slow. So if you try and load it, it makes things extremely inefficient. You might need to find some way to optimize it.

To reinforce my point, I ran it on my other sSDK i5, and got 10 frames per second.

Did you downloaded the newest version? (and yeah I maybe over counted, but is a pretty high number of instances.

I will try to do something, instead of having a big amount of floor instances, I will make 1 floor instance, te problem is that it image will be extremely big.

Try tile collisions, or an array for types. This is a much better method than flooding floor and wall objects.

yeah i was curious about how you were doing the floor... get rid of the instances, use an array method, it'll run sweet.. there's a few demo's here at GMC that'll show you how to do this (start with the 'water' demo's)

Arrays? Im sure that would work for a terraria blocky game, but you can see this game uses terrain style nad not block, Im going to do something that will make the game file increase some mbs, but will get rid of the lag.
