The 8x8 Pixel Halloween Game Project

I HAVE placed this same topic in the WIN WIP forum... but only because I'm using both PC AND MAC to create it. It is going to be a game for PC essentially... but its made on Mac.

If you don't want to read the following below... you can watch a 9 minute video that explains most of everything here and a bit of things this page doesn't even talk about:

If you haven't gotten the chance...
Be sure to check out the webpage where you can download all the latest snapshots and versions as I progress on this game:

This looks cool, but regarding the video: GET TO THE FREAKING GAME lol. I don't wanna watch 7 minutes of explanation, I just care about the game :)

Also, where, exactly is the demo for the mac? I can't find it anywhere on your site. The alpha preview leads to a windows .exe and the other links don't work. I think this game looks pretty promising and I want to play it!

Regarding the video, I understand what you mean... however it was the best possible way to explain the dynamics of the game, while the game is still in its beginning stages.
When I make more progress in its development I'll make an actual trailer.

As far as the game is concerned for mac. I specifically stated, had you watched the video through till the end, that it is MADE on mac. I don't currently have Mac Pro. (I'm kind of waiting for Game_Maker 9.) I even tried using LateralGM to complie it into an app, but that was a headache and heartache. So I don't have the means of making a Mac app just yet.

HOWEVER!

If you or a friend has a version of Mac pro in the time being, I will be happy to send a .gmk for compiling.

Fantastic! I've befriended you on the forums.

When I finish the stable Beta and again the complete the Final version, it would be great to get a copy of .app for mac. Would you happen to have a box or dropbox account? If not we can worry about that later.

In the mean time, I'll put the .gmk alongside every .exe I make for users like you. The next snapshot is 1.3. I'll let you know when its up and running.

This looks really good.

Thanks... it is a strong point! :D
