I think this is a good start for a fighting game, please share any bugs or glitches here would be very munch appropriated. It's open source too, please share your idea's what you think.

Controls: Custom controls

Updates

Version 2, know you can deal damage to each other, though it's not the smooths still needs work.

Version 3 is know out with a redo of the engine is way easier to work on know before it was a mess and with the ability to block, and a combo system that needs worked on.

Version 4 adds custom controls with joystick support, added attack delay so you and another player can hit each other at the same time.

Blitz hit-boxes

This is different, only one move, just a example of hotboxes that isn't in Blitz Engine V3. One minor bug for punching still needs fixed :sweat: just image_speed it gets stuck in a loop sometimes, not in Blitz Engine V3.

Blitz Engine [on-sandbox]

I think this is a good start for a fighting game, please share any bugs or glitches here would be very munch appropriated. I'm being lazy but I wanted to polish a topic for it to get it started, It's open source too, please share your idea's what you think.

Controls:
Player 1 arrow keys to move and down and control to throw fireballs. Player 2 WASD to move down and space to throw fireballs.. Air and attack to kick on ground you'll punch.

First of all, you are not being lazy! You need other people to test your games.

Here's what I thought;

Obviously, it's very early in development. Although what you have done is very smooth and well done. I would really like to see it with a simple AI as well as 3-5 combo attacks and also being able to hit each other. If you put some effort in this could really be good, it's a great start.

Thanks! I'll work on the combos and more moves. I'll work on AI once I'm done with just 2 players engine.

Version 3 is know out with a redo of the engine is way easier to work on know before it was a mess and with the ability to block, and a combo system that needs worked on.

Version 4 is now out! Added custom controls with joystick support. I played it a little with two of my friends and had a good laugh.

Hey this is really neat. I noticed that if I hold up forward and spam the attack sometimes I will get the punch animation while in the air. That's the only problem I found aside from being able to walk through the opponent, which I'm sure you already know about.
