The 8x8 Pixel Halloween Game Project

I HAVE placed this same topic in the MAC WIP forum... but only because I'm using both PC AND MAC to create it. It is going to be a game for PC essentially... but its made on Mac.

sounds freakin epic I like the Idea of a randomly selected Level

btw will all the levels have the same difficulty of gameplay

or will it just be Like

first level then maybe the hardest level straight after :D

Good question... and thanks for replying.

I was actually thinking that the level hardness would be random, just as each room you go to is random.
So yeah the second part of your question is the one I'm thinking...

"first level then maybe the hardest level straight after :D"

Aside from the tutorial level, which is the first room you actually begin in, I would like to point out that the chances of you getting the hardest room starting out is near impossible.

I say this because there is only one room which I would really say is the hardest... and its rare if you even find it. (Necropolis.)
*This is one of the extra levels I was talking about earlier.

Tried it out and so far it's pretty damn solid. I only had one quirk with the background with the black tree like background. Perhaps you could make their movement more smoother?

Overall, I heavily look forward to Graveyard's progress.

Nice work so far!

Thanks Tetiro for your comment!
I know what you're talking about when it comes to the secondary tree background. It isn't smooth because the movement code is calculated by an odd number, while everything else is calculated by even numbers. I can fix this! ^^

I saw those. :D
Haven't had much of a chance to play... but was curious about them. I particularly like the idea of a puzzle platform. Always have.

No problems, I'll be keeping an eye on this project. If you can try out Legena's most recent demo I'd appreciate it.

Now I except to see more of this game as it has some real potential *thumbs up*

Neat art style. The game play seems uninspired at present, but what's there is pretty solid. Good luck! Posted Image

Just to let everyone know, I've got a benchmark list planned. (I'll put this at the top of the post too):

Working towards GraveyardBeta1.0, this is my benchmark list that I have left to getting there:
