Next year I'll be in college for game programming. I plan to program for a living, game programming preferred of course but it's not really in demand as opposed to many other types of programming. I could've gone with general computer science or software development, but I prefer game programming more and I figure it's one of the more impressive kinds of programming to do, so I could probably apply what I learned in other fields of computer science as well
So I'm curious, how has game development been a part of your past and how do you think it'll be a part of your future?
