Edit: Also, I only wanted the HTML5 part. Or else I'd get Studio.

We are not discussing further modules just now, but we have plans and we are in discussions with several parties.

Do existing GM8 users get an upgrade to GM:Studio (Windows exporter only, for logical reasons) to benifit from the different improvements or will you force a loyal paying customer (Since 2003) to buy a new copy of the software?
If it's the latter, I will feel betrayed, that's for sure.
If it's the former, I'll surely buy the HTML5 exporter because it's awesome.

So it has come to this? Game Maker's community treating me like a kid?Studio is a different product to GM8, I don't go to a farm shop to buy eggs and expect the farmer to throw in a chicken.

Okay then, sorry for the arrogance. But any chances to get the C++ runner for next version of GM? It really is the only thing I really wanted to have. All the other features I wouldn't buy... Oh well... I guess being a faithful customer who bought it 3 times just isn't your target audience...This one's for you makerofthegames...
LOLWUT!?!!
However, on a more serious note, GM:Studio is not just a freshening up of GM8.1, it is a whole new product line with a number f enhancements and changes. Configuration manager, integrated source control, texture page management, target platforms, C++ runner, physics and a number of other minor improvements that I don't have time to detail here. So, GM8.1 and GM:Studio are completely different products, with a completely different target audience and as such are priced differently and have different upgrade paths.

I tried beta of gm studio. Is simply GREAT. But, i can't afford buy one. For 397 USD i can buy a used car in Czech republic :D Maybe, if i save some money from my salary for three or four months, i can buy one licence :D
Unfortunately, making games is only my little hobby.I am not indie developer or something like that. Maybe, once will be some action sales or competion and i win :D
