okay so the compiling stats and everything, gets to the part where its replacing the certificates with mine, but they says the file does not exist, after going to the project folder no actual application is created, so it obviously cant replace the certificates. can anyone help please, this is what the compiler says

sorry to double post, but can anyone help me? i tried uninstalling studio, deleting the data from the roaming folder, and reinstalling. any game when i try to compile to ios, connects to the mac, and starts the keychain to sign the ipa, however i get the message saying no such file or directory, on the mac, when i go to that adress, and try to compile it on the windows pc, the folder in the specified path is empty throughout the compilation until the error, so i assume that its not compiling it in the first place, can anyone help?

We are also getting an error when trying to do an iOS build for deployment (Win 7 64-bit / Game Maker Studio v1.0.198). Debugging etc works fine.

Connection to the Mac Mini seems ok, from the Game Settings I can select the provisioning profile etc.

i can not even get game maker to find my provisioning profile, keeps say that it can't find it.

App oven fails as well.

There is a way to specify the location of your provisioning profile within game maker?

Try using a file name that doesn't have spaces in and see if that works.

Good idea.. I renamed my app to get rid of the spaces to see if that made any difference, but it didn't unfortunately.

Then I created new provisioning profiles in my apple developer account and used those, and it worked. So yeah.. it seems to be profiles with spaces in the name are the problem.

Cheers,

Chris

I don't understand how it works... I've created a provisionning profile without space and it doesn't work. The only space remaining is in my certificate because he use your first and last name. Please help me... I'm a newbie in MAC dev.

make sure that once you created it, you installed it into xcode, once you have, back on studio, on game settings, click refresh from mac, and choose the provisioning profile that has no spaces. and that should fix it.

I don't think anyone seems to have managed to create an ipa yet... the trouble is that Apple's process is so complicated already that it's hard to tell if I'm doing something stupid or if GameMaker just doesn't work properly...

I have managed it! Creating IPAs is no problem anymore! Make sure you
- create a provision profile for each app (later you have to select this profile in gamemaker studio!)
- have a valid developer's licence (also in GameMaker Studio)
- allow remote login on your mac
- have a valid connection to your mac!
- entered an app id in gamemaker studio ios settings( something like com.company.game_name

New error, really I don't understand, Irereated all my certificate, provisionning, etc... I can build apps on my IPad2 from xcode but nothing with GMS. Now I've paid the ios license not the beta, I hope to have an answer or a "complete" tuto from someone (from the MAC configuration to GMS). Please help, I'm completely stuck.

My bad, I meant an ipa as in a distributable one. I've been able to create test ipas, just not valid ones for the app store.
