Just recently started watching that. It's OK, I wouldn't say awesome!

Season 1 was excellent. Latest season is a bit meh.

I love it because I actually get 90% of the references.

Cheap laughs. That's what I like to call "lowest common denominator" TV.

As long as nobody posts after me, I should be the winner! Yay!

So far, so good.

I think a lot of Community is more intelligent than most shows. Definitely not on par with nonsense like Big Bang Theory if that's what you mean.

However, the best TV shows are: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Dexter. In that order.

Well done icymx, you w... oh wait!

EDIT: :ninja: d by TV.

I hate Game of Thrones. Well, the TV series anyway.
They just throw stupid crap in there like swearing where it doesn't fit in and gratuitous nudity and stuff like that. These things have their time and place!

I think I can now safely assume you have no taste in cinema.

Why thank you! It's my 3600th post again. Posts in off topic don't count ;)

Just a more refined taste. Also, I hate watching movies in 3D.

You'd discard a beautifully crafted, amazingly detailed, and engaging piece of television because of too much swearing and nudity?

I'd disagree about the swearing at least - it's really not excessive IMO. The nudity is certainly more aggressive than you see in most shows or even movies, but I guess that offends on a per-person basis. Personally I don't find nudity offensive (that will have to be an off topic thread in itself ;))...what is important is that the inclusion of these things portray a world that is darker and more brutal than others you might see. Even if you find them offensive, they are still vital to the overall design.

I think to discern media, you have to be able to look at each underlying piece, even if one or two parts make you uncomfortable. Otherwise you miss out on something special.

Also, I'm yet to see a 3D movie so I have to hold judgment on that ;)

edit: wow it really doesn't, I'm sure if you would tell this to everyone there would be a significant decrease in the number of posts here
