Yes. I just updated GM:S (uninstalled it and re-downloaded it).

I heard and I believe it said that it allows exporting option to export to native apps. I got over excited and still am. :D

but after the update I noticed many things changed, like there's a 'configuration' thing on the top menu bar, and of course, the export button is now clickable!!
when I press set the target to windows and press export, select where to save the game, when it complies it shows an error messages saying,

Error in script "C:\Users\Despicable\Desktop\Despicable\GM Projects\sample_game.gmx\Configs\Default\windows\RunnerInstaller.nsi" on line 67 -- aborting creation process

if I just press the green debug button to test it, it just complies normally and the game works perfectly.

also when I set the target to iOS or to Mac, it shows

and it opens up

I do not understand what 'Mac Host Name', 'Mac User Name' and 'Mac Password' is. I think it is maybe connecting to mac or something? what do I put there?

also I noticed this new menu in the top menubar -

I don't understand what this is either.

I tried to look it up on help file if there already existed an instruction for this, also GM wiki. I believe there still isn't a topic about it yet here(or at least when I checked it a few min. ago). So I just posted this. Thanks!

For most of what you ask, read the release notes, help file, or wiki.

As for the prefs issue: http://wiki.yoyogame...:Studio_for_Mac

Unfortunately, that doesn't explain anything.

The top field, Mac Host Name is the name of the Mac on your network that is to host the game

OK, but where do I find that? I tried using the one in System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name, but it didn't work. I also tried the one ending with ".local", no success either. I always get "Unable to connect to Mac check host name AND user name (with password) are valid". The username/password are my Mac's main account credentials, right? Is it normal that my username has a space in it? (It's my full name.)

Also, honestly, YoYo Games should hire a professional interface designer. The new game settings are simply UGLY and all over the place. Doesn't look like a pro software at all.

The Mac host name is the network name for your Mac - the IP address is allowed

The user name is the short name of the user (if in doubt take a look in the /Users directory and see what your home directory is called - that is the short user name).

Thanks for the advice on UI design...

I disagree.

I am 100% sure I have the correct information but it's still not working. Found the short user name, and I'm using the IP that I see in System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi (where it says "Wi-Fi is connected to ____ and has the IP address ___")

Thanks for the advice on UI design...

Hopefully that wasn't sarcastic or anything! I really love GameMaker but it could be so much more appealing.

You need to enable Remote Login for that user on the Mac..

Go to Preferences -> Sharing and enable Remote Login for the user you want to be able to login.
