When explosion audio plays, it hangs the game for half a second.

What can be the problem? Size of file or bit rate?

Using the volume slider in the sound properties is also not reducing the volume.

is there any script to do that?

Bump.

I understand I am bumping a bit early, but my game is ready, I just have to fix these one and two issues.

Guys Any help, ideas, theories here?

Well, what is the size of your sound-file? If it's some kilobytes or just a few hundred kilobytes then that shouldn't be an issue. If it's a multi-megabyte file, that's where you might run into issues.

All below 40 KB.

They are lagging when they are called for the first time, as if they are not pre loaded.
