Hey, I'm adding one new article every day, without sacrificing on the quality and overall importance of the post...

One quality article each day without a break... That's my promise...

Visit my blog once to see it in your own eyes...

Also I'm open for guest writing at any good blog or site, as long as they accept to do any one of these:

1. Write a good article on gamemaker or/and game design for my blog in return...
2.Give a small advertise of my blog on their frontpage for a few days...

Check out how to add easy motion planning capabilities to you game without using pro-only functions, my new article...

(This is very useful for GM:HTML5 games as it doesn't have in-built Motion Planning functions)...

Also you can subscribe to my blog here through feedburner.

All comments are highly appreciated...

Looks interesting, but the presentation could use a bit of improvement.
Instead of blogger maybe you should try wordpress.

Can you please suggest the type of presentation improvement?

And why should I consider changing my blog hosting service (Give me any good reason and I may)?

The content is good but it seems to be pretty slow to load and some of the colors sorta clash.

Loads quickly for me. But the design has some flaws.

- Never use comic sans if you are publishing serious content that serious people should be reading.
-The colors greatly clash, if you can't some up with a color set that you don't think works, just copy one from another more established site.

The recent posts are not written in Comic Sans by the way. I thought they were pretty cool. But looks like, maybe I will need to change it back.

About, is black text on white background ok for most users?

I don't really think it's slow: Yeah, it's a bit slow with loading images from external sites in "You may like..." section.
But I don't think that's a major distraction.

I am seriously concerned with the colours now, I am surely going to change it.

Absolutely unreadable.
I don't want to spend another second on that site.

To be taken as extremely valuable feedback, not to be underestimated.

Suggestions:
1. Don't use Comic Sans font. Considering that your blog is serious, but not too serious, it would be appropriate to use Arial or Verdana.
2. Be careful with colours that you pick for fonts. People will have to read them, after all. Replace magenta #ff00ff by something less eye-burning.
3. Same colours, but on GMC side. Do you know that some people are using light theme? Reading most of your coloured posts in that requires selecting the text to be able to read it. Colours, readable on both themes, include red, green (not lime, just green), blue, orange, purple, grey. Never bright green, cyan, yellow (switch to light theme and try to read first line of your signature for an example).
4. Add some images to explain things, where appropriate. A picture is worth of thousand words, and a long 'monoblock' paragraph of text will be much more pleasant to look at as an coloured image.
Nice blog, overall. I've bookmarked it earlier, and am checking it time to time.

It's better, but still not good. Follow YellowAfterlife's suggestions, and also make the background static (follow the scrolling).

I am using the light theme, and I did indeed have to select to text to read it. Quite annoying.

Fixed according to the first three suggestions.

As you told in the 4th suggestion, I will try to add more related images as possible. But you probably won't find the sort of flashy images; they will be minimalistic and just to support the related discussion.

More suggestions are welcome...

It is unfortunate that you have to go through such problems and I have tried my best to solve the problem.

But, I think making backgrounds static is a matter of personal taste and surely, there are lots of people around who won't like it.

To be true, personally I don't like that style and most of the blogs I have seen (even the ones with the tutorial of how to do it) don't use it.

Any other suggestion is welcome...

As for your site, it seems fair enough. The articles are fine, but (as mentioned) need images and it would be really nice if you had some example gmk/gmz files to download and demonstrate the things you discuss.

Uggh.. Sorry for breaking the rules..

Most of the posts have a .gmk link in fact. You should find it in the end (mostly) or at the beginning...

And, one more post added.. Steganography: Hands-on Approach using Gamemaker
Quite a few images added this time..
