(note to mods: I have posted the windows version in the game creations section, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting the html5 version here, if so, feel free to delete this)

Sleepshooter is a platform puzzler made for the GMC Jam #6. It was made in 72 hours.

Just recently uploaded the game to Kongregate, so you can now play the game from there!

Love it!

The muzak kind of has an odd ending though, like it's a glitch? But it loops correctly.

Is there a set number of times one can pick up the sleeping meanies?

I didn't notice it until level 19 but I was able to pick up the meany only twice in that level (which was enough to finish the level).
Was just wondering if it was a bug in that level or if one can only pick them up so many/few times.
BTW I was able to put the meany to sleep again but couldn't pick him up, and being able to put him to sleep again kind of made me wonder.

EDIT: Hmmm, and now that I switched tabs in the browser to post this, and went back to play Sleepshoter, the music is now disabled but the sfx is still on (I wonder if I am pressing buttons inadvertently ... teaches me not to read the instructions! )

EDIT2: Oh, the game's only 20 levels ??? Good game though

EDIT3: Oooooh, ok the guy is sleeping in his bed, and I pressed "M" lo, and behold it turns the music ON and OFF. This is missing from the instructions. Also, apparently I was able to turn it off and on only 2 times, i.e. back on, and then PERMANENTLY off (in this screen where he's in bed).
EDIT4: Hmmmmmm ... well, I was able to turn it back on when I re-visited the browser-tab running the game. But it seems like I can only do twice and then have to leave the tab and go back to it to turn it back on (am I making sense here? ;-P )

I've noticed the same error with the music, but only in the Kongregate browser version. It cuts off before it finishes :/.

Good work orange, this game is going to be a contender. Thanks for using my music in your game :).

Funny little game - enjoyed the 9 levels I have played. I'm unsure if you developed the platform physics from scratch for the game, or if you used a ready-made template, but the whole thing worked exceptionally well for something made under 72 hours with only a minor glitch here and there. I imagine the puzzles will get more challenging towards the end.

Can't comment on the music as I played without sound, but the graphics are cheerily colored and blend well together. For all its simplicity it's actually quite pleasant to look at. Good entry.
