I can remember back when I had Game Maker 7, when you would write things like code and scripts, there would be this box that would show various snippets of code that would update as your typing it, and then you could click those lines of code to automatically put them in the code or script. What ever happened to that feature? It doesn't seem to be in 8 at all! Neither lite or standard (pro) from what I've seen have this very convenient feature any more.
If it is in GM8 somehow, please let me know how to access it, as I'd like to learn how to use GML without having to browse the help menu over and over

I think you have to press F2 or something.
Or are you talking about the auto-complete function, it should be there somewhere, try checking the preference.

in your options you can tweak how it shows.
