by spritesheets do you mean ones with 3d effect characters? if u just mean bog standard spritesheet

Use gimp, photoshop or even the built in editor in game maker to make the pixelart.

if you definately want 3d then all my experience is in maya and that takes a long time to learn even the basics, so i would steer clear if you have no experience. I had a look at blender at that confused me :P so it could be hard. There isn't really an easy application to make actual 3d characters, i heard google sketchup being easy but i doubt that would allow you to make a character let alone pose it.

how are you planning to use the 3d characters? the built in 3d for game maker isn't very vast and if you have no experience in it it can be mighty tricky.

If I was you I would stick to 2d or use bespoke 3d applications as game maker is great for 2d but is rather limited in 3d.

firstly you dont need to put ".." at the start or end of most sentences

and the easiest way if you have 0 experience with graphics is just use the built in editor in game maker to make basic sprites. but if you want more control use gimp a free image editor(like photoshop).

if you find you arent good at making sprites either use some free ones from some sprite sites, purchase some sprite packs online or get them made by a freelancer or fellow gmc member. Lots of game maker users aren't good at graphics and lots are only/mostly good at graphics.

hope that helps

well im not very good with the networking side of things. but you can either host your game on your own site, or upload it to a play online site(may require you to have the file hosted onb your website).
