Phew, finally finished them all! I'm sorry if you feel your review sucked compared to other game which may have been of similar quality. I played through these with various different moods and it probably reflects throughout the reviews, but I just wrote what happened in my head as I played, and nothing is meant to insult etc (not that I think it would anyway). The most I can offer is that I hope this is of some constructive critisism

Topped my record for jam reviews too, with 6145 words

Reason: Well, it has been a while since playing most of the games, yet this one sticks in my mind as having felt the most tranquil to me, and based on the theme, I vote this!
2- I Dub Thee Able by SpyDog
Why? Well I read through me reviews and it seemed I genuinely enjoyed playing this one.
3- Fox In The Forest by Robert3DG+
Because again, reading through my reviews, this reminded me that it was quite nice running through this world.

Sleepy Maneuver by 11clock
Fun little platforming puzzle game. Simple control scheme and a good balance between puzzle and platform timing. I enjoyed the challenge this game offered. The first level had almost passed me by by the time I had read the text. Luckily I just about picked it up, although while playing I didn’t realise the point in collecting the yellow energy blocks. I realise it was said somewhere, but I didn’t have time to read it! I found that after dying a few times on a level, getting the yellow block lost its appeal and instead I would go straight for the exit. Still, simple and sweet!
Tranquility Mobile by 247SlashGMC
My favourite things about this game were the colours, the music and the depth created by the background stars. The gameplay itself feels very slow however, and there is not enough happening to keep you playing for a long time. I noticed in the achievements that one of them is to fly for 15000 meters! That must take ages! I like how you are informed while playing when you have completed an achievement. I was sad to hear the music stop when I exited the game!
LIFE FLOW by BlackSheepGames
As soon as I started this game I felt like I was 5 years old! Neat graphics, and actually is a decent challenge to collect all the bonus points, however I couldn’t believe I had to restart every time I hit a bad cloud/lightning/bee. It wasn’t gripping enough to want to have to keep replaying the levels, but still, the game is well polished and actually well-fitting with the theme.
A Figurative End by Blake
First impressions just wanted to be able to make the text appear on screen all at one time. In fact I am writing this while the second notepad at Grace’s memorial is writing. Having said that, it does help build the mood of the game, which is one of reflection. It is actually rather
beautiful in portraying a story. It evokes warm emotion, and was actually very pleasant to play. Great graphics, great message, I liked this! (And by the way, good job on not letting people skip the text!)
Tranquility Restored by BrightEyes
Pretty nice graphics and soundtrack; I certainly felt like the deer was in a tranquil setting. Killing the bears was more of a chore than a necessity, but obviously the fact that achievements rely on killing the bears makes you want to do so. If I’m honest, the movement felt a little awkward, it would have been nice to run up the (as close to as may as well be) slopes. Overall though this game has a nice tranquil feel to it.
=( )= by chainswkitten
Very nearly couldn’t work out how to play this. At first, I thought it was taking ages to load, but you have to click to begin. Then I couldn’t move the player; the mouse didn’t seem to work at first, and I tried nearly every key on the keyboard. I restarted, and luckily managed to figure that you must left click to move! But then, I got to the end of the map, and nothing seemed to happen. I went back and took a different root, but still just got to a dead end. I loved the water reflection effects, but there wasn’t much more to this after a bit of an explore.
Bloom by Chessmasterriley
Immediately the graphics gave a good impression. However, I was stuck for a while on the first level trying to move the wooden plank that is located there. I found the F1 help file which said left click to move objects, and right click to rotate them. It also mentioned an inventory, but it wasn’t immediately obvious where that inventory was. That’s my only criticism however; the game was very well polished, and provided fairly decent challenges. There wasn’t enough variation to keep me playing right through however, but none-the-less a very appealing game.
Sea of Tranquility by Coolbot4K
Not long into playing, I got an error!
ERROR in
action number 1
of Step Event
for object fish:
Error in code at line 64:
image_angle = point_direction(x,y,fishing_hook.x,fishing_hook.y);
^
at position 57: Unknown variable x
Not a good start, the error meant I had to restart the game. This time, I caught a goldfish, and then, got the error again It occurs when you try to catch a jellyfish I think- at least it happened both times when I was catching a jellyfish. I did subsequently catch a jellyfish (on my 3rd run of the game) . The game was quite nice actually; I didn’t like how long it took the menu to fade- maybe it’s because I had to keep using it! I didn’t really feel spurred on to go and catch all the fish, I couldn’t work out how to go deeper without letting a goldfish swim the bait down, but then nothing seemed to be interested before the line broke. Reading the help file again, I realise there is a fair bit to get done, but it just seems like too much effort- more prize needed to come sooner!
Serenata by coppolaemilio
Unique game, and I liked the concept, I just found it a bit boring to play. I liked the artwork, there just wasn’t enough in the game for me unfortunately.
Chaos by Davve
Decent all round really, fairly solid platforming- unfortunately the player wouldn’t enter the door after level 2, and I couldn’t advance any further with the game. I even tried suiciding at every point in the level with the thought maybe the door was elsewhere, but alas, I had to finish this game perhaps ahead of its time. I liked the graphics and music.
Bird by dereklarue
I unlocked the cloud drifter achievement after about 30 seconds, but the achievement says you have to touch clouds for 600s. I unlocked another achievement while typing this! I found the sound effect when you press space quite annoying. There really isn’t much to this game, you can tell that it was put together in 6 hours, because it is really lacking in much gameplay. Still, 3/6 achievements done, I’m happy.
A Warriors Rest by Desert Dog
The intro cut scene in itself opened the game up to tell a good story. I was gripped from the moment I started reading. And that’s what this game was all about, the story it told. It was wonderful stepping into the mind of the warrior and trying to discover the good memories, which were so tantalising! I had one problem however, I moved off the screen while some text was still appearing, and it moved to the next room, so I didn’t to read that part of the story! It was a shame really, because I was totally immersed in the story until that point, and then it was sort of cut short, and I had to try and get back into the zone. Overall I think the game was a nice take on tranquillity, and it was thought provoking, which I like in a story driven game!
Cat Martyrdom by Docopoper
I really wanted this to be good, I don’t know why, I just had a good feeling about it. But in all honesty, I couldn’t cope with the movement, it felt so jerky, and I spent about 7 minutes trying to roll the wheel up the ramp so I could progress, and it was causing me physical and mental pain trying to do it, and I really wanted to give each game a fair go, but I think spending that long trying to get somewhere really does put one off! Even that sentence is kind of painful to read. Then I realised you could edit your progress in the ini file, so I did, just to test out some more of the game, and I still found the physics too hard. Maybe I’m just bad at this game! Still, I managed to kill the lemming

The Story Of A Leaf by Fireball16
I don’t really know what to make of this game. It was semi-cool, I didn’t understand the upgrades, they didn’t seem to do anything, even though I bought many of all of them? The score seems to increase without doing anything, and at the start, if you leave the leaf, you can just sit there in mid-air, racking up the score! I thought the pollen seed graphic didn’t quite fit in with the rest of the game. I liked how you land with lots of other leaves, and that was the end of that leaf’s story, that was nice. I like the principle behind this game, using the birds to bounce back higher etc, but it all feels a little slow. I think this is a product of the theme however, so it fits.
Miniature Golf by Follomania
Fantastic mini golf game, and 3D as well. Wasn’t expecting this to be quite as solid as this, I couldn’t find any bugs, and for 3 days the graphics were great. It was cool that you could free roam around from hole to hole; it was getting close on the real thing! One problem I encountered was that you hit your ball when you press right click even when you aren’t holding space, which led me to do a few accidental shots, which played havoc with my score! You can press space once you have finished a hole to skip straight to the next one, which is fine I suppose, but it did mean I ended up not walking the whole course! Overall, this game had a great feel to it.
WillO by GameDevDan
This was fairly decent. It ran smoothly and provided a challenge, but to be honest, at first, the challenge was a little bit frustrating. Bashing into walls to have to restart the level was annoying at first, but after a few levels you get the point that that is half of the challenge, a mouse precision game mixed with various hazards and special things that do stuff! I got into it, and found myself working through a fair amount of the levels. But the whole time I was wondering why, it’s one of those games that doesn’t offer much thrill, but keeps you playing. The spirits must have been at work with this! (I think with regards to the wall colliding, the sprite was not so obvious exactly how close you could get to the wall, which meant sometimes when I was trying to do a tight manoeuvre which I thought was safe, I’d hit the wall. Probably fine though

)
Peace& Quite Nightmarish by IceMetalPunk
Woah, the game was very short! It took me about 5 minutes to complete though, I kept dying at the last hurdle for some unknown reason. I found the movement a little bit awkward, especially when hitting the walls; it was quite stop-start. The presentation was pretty good, but the gameplay is really very simple.
Calm by imonster
I didn’t see the point in the mouse being on screen while playing levels. When I had calmed everyone on the first level, I couldn’t progress, I tried all sorts to move on, but nothing worked (V, Enter?), nothing near or around that sign actually worked. I thought I’d hit esc and try again, but esc wouldn’t do anything, and so I clicked X, and that did nothing, so I wasn’t overly thrilled having to open task manager to close it, and it put me off unfortunately. However, then I thought about my fair play policy, and gave it another go! It’s not so bad, but in the end you end up just spamming Z while calming the creatures. The movement had double jumping, and wall jumping, which is fine, the friction on the wall when trying to go down was a bit too high; I’d rather you fell a bit faster even when holding left or right against a wall. There were a lot of colourful graphics, but they bullet explosions did block a fair amount of vision.
Hillbilly Organ Grinder by JoeH
At first I thought by organ grinding you meant shredding up livers and kidneys and what not, so firing notes was cool. My first attempt at the game didn’t go so well, for no particular reason. My next try was much better though, I was worried it was going to be boring after my first run, but having seen some of the highscores I thought there must be more to it. And there was, the upgrades were satisfying, and downgrades irritating! It was just hold left click and aim, but there was just enough going on to keep you playing. The bar on the left of the screen which it said to right click on the help screen didn’t do anything, but other than that it was a fairly nice entry.
Forgotten Place by joexx3
Run using shift: the atmosphere is suddenly broken with a filter keys pop up! Back to the game… Another filter key pop up! I’ll try tapping shift to break the 8 second hold… A sticky key pop up! That’s the story of me completing the first level of this game. The controls are actually really uncomfortable in this, which is a real shame, the game could build up a great atmosphere were it not for an awkward thumb on space, and ****-key pop ups. I really liked the graphics for this game. Trying to jump up slopes is pretty hard though, the movement engine just doesn’t feel right. I jumped up beneath a mushroom shaped object eventually (I had found a few hidden coins by now), and the player got stuck, helpless. I had to call it a day there, I’m sure this game could have offered so much more, it’s honestly a shame about how difficult it was to get into the game!
FerretJam by KygonsCube
This game came in the gm81 file, so I had to open up GM first! Anyway, it is clearly unfinished (as it says in its title), and was not really worth playing due to the movement engine getting stuck fairly often, and buggy sprite changes etc.
Escape From Hades by lukew23
I didn’t understand the collision engine in this game. Moving up was quite a challenge, and killing enemies involved spamming Z. It was difficult to know where you were and weren’t going to fall if you jumped towards a ledge, and it was frustrating falling down long drops just to have to climb back up. There was little reward in doing so, and I felt a little stressed after playing this! Changing weapon would have been nice if when on the screen you could select with up and down.
Cry of the Forest by mads2194
Really cool twist. As I started this game I thought it was just going to be a platformer with a cute panda sprite, but the magic combinations made a great addition. It could have done with a visual reminder what WASD stood for, because I ended up casting every spell just to find the right one. The graphics were a mixed blessing in this game, some looked good, others poor! I liked the games concept though, good work!
TheLandFill by max_r_61270
Didn’t like this forcing a change in screen resolution, and why does a colour palette pop up when you press C? The enemies were hard to get past in a lot of cases, frustratingly so, and it was a bit annoying really! This game definitely wins strangest graphics though!
Arcadia by Mr Munchkin
Wasn’t what I was expecting when I read the help, but it was a good surprise. I thought I would be navigating a maze, but it was just about moving around the screen popping bubbles. Not much replayability to be honest and each level wasn’t much different from another. When you gained enough confidence to pass, it didn’t seem to pass; you eventually just clicked and went back to the menu.
Sleepshooter by orange08
Finally a platformer which didn’t stress me out! Good difficulty gradient and some nice attention to detail (such as the tiny little bugs running around on the grass). I liked the idea of putting enemies to sleep and using them to push buttons. There were some good puzzle elements too, and they were not too long to bore you, I think this game is really well balanced. I enjoyed the music, it reminded me of some of my retro roots. I think it’s fair for me to say the game was better than I thought it would be, I actually thought it was a good puzzle platformer, and this is improved by the lack of irritations!
Fox In The Forest by Robert3DG+
This was actually really cool! I’ll get what I thought was not so good out of the way; well basically I just thought it felt like you were too close to the ground (but then again, you are a fox), and it seemed like you ran really fast. However, any slower the game would have been annoying. But I actually really enjoyed playing this! Exploring was cool, despite getting lost for ages in the maze, I did eventually get my bearings. Nice simple game but what felt like a fairly expansive world. The exploration was cool, and if the world was made bigger with side quests and what not, it would be just pure decent!
Tranquility Is A Lame Theme by slayer 64
Despite the feel of taking the piss this game achieves, it was actually alright to play. You just go around finding the achievements, and it wasn’t so bad doing so. One achievement should have been “fall the entire height of the room non-stop”, but other than that, I can’t really fault this game. It seems to do what it’s meant to do and taken with a pinch of salt, it’s actually fairly fun.
Sea of Tranquility by snail man
This was a great idea for a game. It was unique and offered an interesting challenge. I really enjoyed playing this, and liked the fast portrayal of a story. Those poor guys landing on the wrong side of the sea of tranquillity! Good take on the theme actually as well! Yeah, this was cool. It got a tad frustrating at times switching between the robots and not moving when you wanted to or moving when you didn’t want to, because you had pressed the wrong key. You do get used to the controls eventually though. Nice entry!
Origami by TheUltimate
Another cool concept. I reached the end and was satisfied. The idea seemed to work well, and the level design was fairly sound. The player sprite was good, and the effects when landing a jump were a nice touch. On the last level I managed to do two folds in one go (at the place on the far right where you jump over the spikes, and back again), and as it was the last level didn’t get to test the effect again. The movement was a tiny bit buggy at times, and I tried unfolding when jumping over spikes, and the level restarted, but I don’t think I hit the spikes. Anyway, good job here!
PigOut by Venomous
Very nicely made pig shooter. The game is just driven by ones desire to shoot pigs. It was good, but obviously all you do is shoot pigs. Don’t get me wrong, that’s fun, but replayability doesn’t last long. The graphics were good for 3 days of development, but after killing 100’s of pigs, the gameplay appeal is gone.
Fields Of Illusia by Viloen
I personally felt the intro text took too long to scroll. The game was weird, I didn’t really know what I was meant to be doing. I eventually found the Enter menu, and tried equipping stuff, but it didn’t seem to do anything. There were flaws in this game unfortunately. I actually loaded the game up twice, and on each occasion it started me on two completely different places!
DreamyBeamy by Kalzme
Simple game where you fly along and dodge clouds. I found the gameplay pretty boring to be honest with you. The game seemed quite nicely presented, but once I had died, there was nothing making me want to go back and have another go I’m afraid.
Peaceful Warrior by _226266
An alright concept mixed with a slightly off putting movement engine. Getting stuck when landing on the corner of a platform was a little annoying. Pressing space changed modes from not so calm to calm, where certain items appeared. It was ok, but I wasn’t really feeling the challenge of it, especially dying quite as much as I did trying to collect coins from the bottom. If you run all the way right, the HUD disappears.
Fly by blopit
Took a while to work out how to play, as the controls weren’t included. I then had to work out what I was actually meant to be doing. I eventually figured that you must fly around each circle once such that you can then move onto the next circle. It was cool I suppose, but it was basically occasional taps of up, then on the next circle, occasional taps of down while dodging stuff, and not going into the white. Was alright though, it just wasn’t particularly exciting!
Defending Tranquility by CapitainLepidus
The mouse controls the gameplay, so I found it odd that the menu was controlled with arrow keys and space. It was quite easy to win this game, and it wasn’t very exiting or skilful to do so. However, as a game it has potential, I just feel it needed longer than 72 hours to come to something spectacular. Hexagonal movement is cool, and I’m sure with animations, unit sliding, buildings, unit production etc, this could turn into a really good turn based strategy!
Tranquility by CapitanLepidus
Walk to a hole, press space. Walk around a room, with apparently nothing to do in it. Did I miss something with this? I was happy though, because this was quick to play and quick to review!
Dandelion by Centauri
A peaceful game which just involves watering flowers, and spraying weed killer. Fine as a concept, but not very exciting to play. I blame the theme though, it fits the theme, but once I got game over, I wasn’t inspired to play again I’m afraid.
Maggot In A Frying Pan by dadio
I hit the maggot 100 times.
Serenity Slaughter by Dangerous_Dave
I appreciated the humour of this. But I had to give up, I was just thinking “why am I wasting my time shooting emoticons”!
A Dying Curiosity by elektron
This was nice, I enjoyed it. It was like watching a year pass by painted by a child, and it possessed a nice feel to it. I don’t understand why the tree suddenly disappears though! Good entry.
The Tranquilliser by FirhilKamal
At first I couldn’t jump up the initial ledge, don’t know why. Anyway, I got to the first boss, and it was hard. Died quite easily, so went back to try again. Then I died again, but it seems like it shouldn’t be that hard, so I tried one more time. And I died again. That was annoying, because it took so many hits to get down, just to start again. I loved the graphics, especially the background, and the music set the scene really well. I’m a little disappointed that I couldn’t get past the first boss, but time is really short at the moment, and spending ages on the first boss, three times over, just put me off a little unfortunately.
Gather by Greenblizzard
Fair enough, you roll around a field collecting things. I ended up seeing how far I could roll, but the map just loops through, which is fine, but collecting things was a chore with the slow turning, and for no reward, I’m afraid I just found this boring.
Way of TR by GreyZebra
The good news is that I completed this game! I persevered, I like platformers which allow exploring, but this was fairly plain and so I just got through the levels quickly, killing the enemies took time rather than offer reward, so it was more effort than it was worth to kill them. When I got to the island, I though “great, there is going to be a cool boss fight”, but, you just have to jump behind him and punch him in the back of the head! Still, good effort on making this.
The Surreptitious Dr Swiss by HayManMarc
Nice visual background a fairly amusing story and characters. Basic gameplay however, and when I got to the door and pressed space:
ERROR in
action number 1
of Key Press Event for <Space> Key
for object obj_player:
Error in expression:global.hero_ammo
position 8: Unknown variable hero_ammo
My mind was a mess after looking at Dr Swiss too long, and this error led to an abortion!
Isras Wings by Jools64
Nice game, I really liked the graphics, and getting more feathers to be able to fly higher was a great way to keep you wanting to be able to advance further through the world. It got frustrating at times when you died a lot, but that’s really no excuse not to like it, I only think it was so because of the amount of times I have died in different games in this jam! I really liked the presentation of this game, good work.
The Thing That Money Cant Buy by IrfanFox
Well, it’s a nice little setting. Basic plot though, and I went out, saved a bird, picked up some rubbish, and gathered the ingredients for my wife to make a tasty meal, and that was it. It’s basically an afternoon in the life a tranquil man. I have no quarrels with this. From a gameplay point of view, not that fun really.
Tripod by JAK HAK
This was a cool idea, I thought at first this was going to be a story driven game, but the story wasn’t really moving me, but then the game began and I realised that the story was really just justifying having a main character with a foot on his head. It was nice to play this platformer as it offered something a bit different. Lots of levels which didn’t take too long to complete meant I didn’t get bored or frustrated, which can happen with platformers if they don’t keep me interested, so good work here!
An Ode To Dreaming by Jobo
The movement was slow in this game. You could also dig yourself into horizontal platforms if you approached them from the side. I think this game was slightly flawed by the slow movement speed, and the small play visible play area, which restricted certain aspects of gameplay. It took too long to get anywhere, and really all you have to do is collect things. There wasn’t enough stuff to keep you interested; lack of enemies made it too easy to get about, but the lack of environment meant it was much of an explorer either. The game was telling a story though, which was a nice addition.
These Tranquil Waters Shall Not Hold by JohnKi
At the start I thought I was going to be able to explore an interesting underwater world with lots to do in it. But 7 minutes later I had just been going deeper and deeper, with the light getting less and less, and all the while just occasionally coming across some colourful blocks, or the odd swimming thing. The exploration felt slow, and there was nothing to do other than go forward. Making the world rotate was interesting, but it felt disorientating as I couldn’t tell what was up or down. I don’t know if I was just unlucky, but it seemed there was nothing to do here!
Payload by Keevor
Not knowing what the controls are, I tried a few keys, and got:
ERROR in
action number 1

for object obj_ship:
Error in code at line 1:

^

I worked out the space is shoot, and you aim with the mouse, but I couldn’t work out if you control the ship or it goes on its own accord. Anyway I left it bouncing around the screen, shooting at things. It seemed that when colliding with stuff, the ship didn’t lose any health? The game felt quite unfinished unfortunately.
Aaaah... by makerofthegames
The first game in which part of progression is to just stand and wait. And actually, this game is really cool, using certain achievements to be able to complete the game was a nice idea. It doesn’t strictly keep to the handicap though, which was to have achievements separate from the main game! Still, I liked the idea of this game, and it proved to be fun. The gun shooting bit was quite annoying however, but overall I did have a good experience with this game!
Retrospection by MrGame
This games movement engine was fairly buggy, making it not a smooth gameplay experience. I died with the dog down a hole, and couldn’t get him back. The jerky movement was really off putting unfortunately. At least a signpost admitted the game had been made in a rush, but you could tell anyway!
Aardvark Cwm by NAL
Some interesting humour here, clearly some inside jokes and what not involved, the game was quick paced; a lot of the time you would achieve something without noticing. I couldn’t do 2 of the objectives, “P-Ing Yourself” and “Platinum Aardvark”. The soundtrack had a really annoying high pitched squeal at some points in it too.
Balance by NicroGames
Simple game where you must stop your green rectangle falling off the screen. It was fairly smooth, and I figured collecting stars increased your score. The tilt got more and more of a mind of its own, which was good as the difficulty increased. Not much more to say about this really, it was an okay experience, could have done with more variety in its gameplay I feel.
Ataraxia by Nocturne
It took me a while to work out how to move, I naturally went for WASD and UDLR, I think the problem was that the acceleration was slow, so not knowing that holding left click moved you, I didn’t notice any movement with my clicks. Anyway, the game had great visuals, and a satisfying collection sound, but the gameplay dragged out a bit, just moving around collecting green things lost its appeal relatively quickly. I personally would have liked a bit more resistance, just to give the game a bit more challenge, but again, I think this is down to the theme. The game fit the theme nicely, it had a good tranquil feel to it, and looked great, good work!
A Circle Race by ReKNepZ
Cool game, it reminded me of a similar game I played about 14 years ago, but can’t for the life of me remember the context of the betting in that game! The game does need more stuff adding to it to give it some replayability, but as a start it’s fine- we don’t see many games like this anymore.
Akovi by Rusty
I liked the graphics of this game, and it was quite an interesting control scheme. It was pretty easy to beat, and as far as I can tell it was just the one level. I freed the trapped guys, and ended the level, but it just sits on “you win”. Still, as an engine its pretty good!
Shoot The Pidgeon 2 by Rusty
I found the music instantly annoying, so while muting it, I died! Well, it’s impossible, but quite fun actually in a ridiculous way. The highest score I got was 70.
Divided I Stand by Me!
I wish I had added a score to the game, to encourage going on a killing spree with the Defender Drone, and I wish I had made gun turrets cheaper to build. Other than that, I’m so pleased with this game for the short time frame!
I Dub Thee Able by SpyDog
Really cool simple platformer. Nice short levels which weren’t too hard to beat so it kept it interesting while not driving me insane! I guess the only bad thing is it was too short! Good achievement criteria which you can see after the game, they seem doable which makes some replayability value. I guess the game could be expanded to include more baddies and puzzles etc, but for now, it’s great!
Hello Ole Chap This Is A Story Hello by ThatSnail
Um, that was a little strange. The story sort of built up something, and then I waited, and decided to hit F1, and so I knew the controls and immediately guessed what to do with them. Then I did it for about 5 minutes, before it clicked nothing was going to happen! I just heard the three sound clips a lot of times!
Protect The Guru by TheLegend
Good attempt at a TD game. I found that you became overwhelmed quite quickly, it needs balancing really. I was losing health on the first levels, which is off putting for a TD in my opinion. The mouse was out on the space level by the way, as in, it was like the collision masks were below the sprites some way- in fact all levels with the screen size change!
Traversia by Yagibabla
I quite enjoyed this, it was real nice, and I think fitted the tranquillity theme very well. There wasn’t really that much to do; I caught some insects and a few fish, and planted flowers, and chopped down trees- but it doesn’t really go anywhere. Can’t really knock it for that though, it’s a sterling effort for three days. There were a few bugs: selecting the red mushroom would sometimes plant flowers instead of a mushroom, and you could select other items before reeling in the fishing line, but overall it worked pretty well. With some expansion, this could be a very successful game, good work!
Fire Tears by Yal
Not bad, some rooms had quite a bit of lag, but most of the time it ran fine. The world was plain and didn’t have much visual appeal, but I enjoyed exploring. I got to the 2nd door where I needed 15 tears, and I’m afraid I didn’t have the drive to go back and find another 8 (which is how many more I needed), as there weren’t any that I had seen that I had missed. Not a bad game altogether.
Swan by Yal
Well, I just spent about 8 minutes holding right. I got the achievement, which is a fair effort I reckon! I wonder if many people realise there is an achievement!
Just Let Me Sleep by zakaos
Not compatible with my system unfortunately.
Enough Portals by Ziggler1
Actually a pretty decent concept, it took me a while to realise what I was doing; I was initially trying to grapple! But after that I soon whizzed through the levels with no trouble, and I enjoyed it despite it being a demo test version, good work!
C.O.T-Protector by Zxmantisxz and Kehran
Should be able to skip the intro, as I accidently pressed escape when trying to close the shop, and had to restart the game. When hovering over the ninja star in the shop, the help pop-up goes off the screen. I seriously can’t work out how to exit the shop! Oh, it’s backspace. I felt right click would have felt more natural, might be just me though. The whole game ammo system felt strange, the shop didn’t seem to let me buy stuff, and scrolling didn’t appear to change weapon (it did once I opened and close the shop), but maybe I’m doing something wrong. Anyway, this game lays the foundations for a potentially good game, so well done!
