I personally haven't tested ios but im nearly 100% sure you just code your own events using the supplied gml functions built in. put it in the step event or if you like in trigger events(go to resources on the menu bar, top of screen), trigger events are basically custom versions of the keyboard and mouse events that you found i made my own events for my xbox 360 controller code. im not entirely sure what all the tap event and such code is but off the top of my head I think it might start with YoYo_.

also i recommend checking out the help file its pretty uptodate!

Taps are registered with mouse events or by using virtual keys.

Use YoYo_Mouse for multitouch, no D&D for them so you'll have to script it

Fyi, about the trigger events, it appears that for the time being, they aren't going to be in gm studio. Mike had posted a few weeks ago a poll in this very subforum, and the general concensus was that triggers weren't all that important, and mike seemed to agree.

yeah discontinued in the patch the other day :( which sucks cos i only just started using them and i quite like the idea for newbies. I think it could have been good if they were directly included in GEXs and allowed for grouping(just like keyboard and mouse events are seperate) and allowed for icons just like action libaies, but the 2 do different things.

Its a sad day to see features leave. my games are gradually getting more "buggy" due to updates :P. im gonna have to scap what i was working on
