Lol, this game is pretty sweet!
It was very easy to complete the demo but it was definitely fun.
I think the graphics could use a major overhaul, sound effects too, but the biggest problem I had with the game was the repetitive music.
One of cave songs I think looped like 15 seconds...it was very annoying.
The storyline was pretty good. I liked the idea of your father being a blacksmith, teaching you how to craft.
I didn't like how the evil wizard was all of a sudden a big part of the game and there was no lore leading up to it.
Gameplay was decent enough. Easy to control, although I would have preferred to use WASD instead of the arrow keys.
I also found that at level 9, the game was way too easy. I hardly took any damage at all. I finished the game getting to level 11 and can kill everything with a couple of hits without taking damage. Also, I'm not sure if you wanted it to work this way, but if you put an item in the result slot for crafting, the items it takes to craft it appear in the addition slots. It seemed like a really easy to way get free money if you find or buy an item that you can deconstruct.
Overall, I'd give this game a 7/10. If you at least improve the collisions and music, it'd be an 8.
If you improve collisions, music, graphics, and fix the inventory bugs, I'd give it a 9.5, keeping in mind it's still a work in progress.
Good luck finishing the game!
edit.Oh right, I forgot to mention a bug. During the monkey fight, I found out that you can walk around while the mage was still talking.
I took that time to use the death spell on the monkey several times and eventually killed him without anything else happening.
