A randomly generated world map that randomly generates cities which then sets up a huge array of linked rooms and each room will have randomly generated terrain, randomly generated flora, randomly generated monsters and randomly generated buildings. And you can kill randomly generated monsters for randomly generated loot which you can sell for other randomly generated stuff in the randomly generated shops in the randomly generated cities. BUT WAIT! There's more! You can do some randomly generated quests to level up & gain gold to make a spaceship! In which you can travel to other randomly generated planets to do other randomly generated stuff!
Pretty much just like the game Spore! But less disappointing.
That's right kids! The contest doesn't say it has to be a traditional RPG but just needs RPG elements! I can just make a game like Learn To Fly as it has various RPG elements though it is classified as an arcade game.
Though I'm making an oblique-view rpg platform shooter. Like Cartoon Wars Gunner but with platforming (3D movement), and RPG elements.
Actually the core engine is pretty much done! I just need to add melee weapons and spell casting. World map generates and makes cities! I just need to translate the map into rooms.
I do have significant experience making RPGs! I may just have begun to develop my RPG but that doesn't mean I didn't have it planned out!
