Hello everyone,
I'm making a game that one would play with a group of their friends. When starting a new game, they can pick if they want the game to be 5, 7, or 9 total players. So I have it set up to set the variable "playercount" to 5/7/9 depending on a menu option. The part I'm having trouble planning out is how they can select the friends they will be playing with. For example, they chose to play a game of 5 and need to pick 4 friends (they are the fifth player!). They have 16 friends to choose from and need to select four of them to start the game. I have all the friend objects ready to go, but I don't know how to make it so they can pick X amount of players and then use those players in the game. I'm basically simulating the multiplayer aspect for this demo.
Further example:
I'm starting a new game.
I want to play a game of 5 people.
I have 16 friends to choose from, I pick John, Sally, Josh, and Kevin.
Turn One/Room One- I take my turn.
Turn Two/Room Two - John takes his turn.
Turn Three/Room Three - Sally takes her turn.
Turn Four/Room Four - Josh takes his turn.
Turn Five/Room Five - Kevin takes his turn.
Game ends, other stuff happens.
Thanks for the help!
