Here at YoYo Games we like to encourage and promote GameMaker community endeavours. Today, we're highlighting Roencia Game Creators: http://www.roencia.com

Roencia Game Creators is a resource for indie and casual game developers that offers “Graphics for Games”, amongst other things, for those that want to focus on programming and not the creation of graphics. Developers can make games using these graphics without paying royalties or even attributing them (*credit is really nice though)! Developers can edit and modify the graphics in any way for use in game/application.

A number of GameMaker members are always on the lookout for great resources for their projects and we think this is a great site to check out!

If you like to find out more information, please see the links provided below;

On the actual news announcement the link text is roancia, but the url is to roencia... hmm... Anyway, a very interesting site - I enjoy taking free graphics and editing them to make my own creations (while always crediting the original creator /good citizen).

Anyone buy Roencia's products at GraphicsForGames.com? I just bought the Spaceship Pack 1 and the Bug packs. Pretty darned good if you ask me. Has a very 32-bit feel for them, and they're animated.

I am please with my purchases so far

disclaimer: I am not affiliated with that website or Roencia. I am an aspiring game programmer that bought their graphics, and I'm Pleased-As-Punch with my purchases!
