I'm getting excited for the next jam. Not sure what I'll make, but I feel like making another 'Disillusion' styled game with a focus on atmosphere. But who knows.

Kirby's Epic Yarn does the same thing as Faultline in a few places, folding the world to change it. Faultline was released about a month before Yarn went gold, though, and the folding is in several of Yarn's levels so there's absolutely no way they were based off of each other. It's simply a good idea that multiple people have had of their own accord.

Exactly. See, that's what I mean. All you've gotta do is think for a moment, and you realize that sometimes different people will get the same idea without being aware of it.

Mine keeps getting compared to "Flow", which is a game I had never even heard of before NAL showed me a gameplay video for it... So you are not the only one in this boat!

Yeah, but only a couple of people said that, and at least they're not accusing you of stealing anything. It's a good thing that most of the people are just talking about the video.

But yeah, I think I might have overreacted a bit, but I just hate seeing unfounded accusations being directed at me or anyone else. It's not like anyone's even thinking about it; they're just jumping on the bandwagon. I just feel like someone should go mention something at the forum, cause I just checked, and a lot of people are still convinced that it's stolen. Just wanna try clearing things up, you know?

Sounds pretty good, although we've still got a couple months before the next one? I'd like to try and enter but I'll no doubt get stuck doing something else!

Wow that close already, it feels like this one only just finished to me - obviously time has been passing me by.

Yep, this jam was the end of April, so the end of July is 3 months from then; still just over a month to wait- no doubt that time will fly though! I do like the jams, they are a good excuse to try something new :)

I can't wait! I really want to get back in to GM and if anyone remembers I did say I was going to enter the last jam when it was half-way through, although I never managed to get anything done.

So we should see a topic for the next jam going up pretty soon then? 2 weeks or so?

Raocow is getting close to finishing the top 14! I wish we had the places posted at the start of this topic, it is such a pain to go and find the other to see what he will play next...

I wish we had the places posted at the start of this topic,

Why? Since this competition was clearly all about winning and not about having fun and experimenting with GM, posting the rest of the games and their places would be insulting to the winners.

I can't tell who you're making fun of, speedchuck, or the fact that the places aren't posted in the first post. You're not making any sense regardless. :confused:

I'm guessing Saturday July 28, 00:00 -> Monday July 30, 23:59.
