I think there are a couple hours left before you can guess again- eh whatever.

Letters used: e t a

_ _ _ _ _ _ e | _ _ e | _ _ | _ _ _ e | a _ _ _ e _ e _ e _ t _ | _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ _ | _ _ t _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ | _ a _ e , | _ e _ a _ ate | _ _ _ _ | _ _ e | _ a _ _ | _ _ a _ | _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ t _ _ e .

There ya go. :turned:

Edit: Oopies! The "_ _ _ t _ _" should be "_ _ t _ _ _".

If you totally crack it, it is my humble request that you don't tell EVERYONE until maybe a couple hours before the jam starts.

Please? <:3

Sure! If everyone knew, I wouldn't have an advantage anyway! :ninja:

Word 7 looks like it is an important one, but having 6 letters that aren't "a", "e" or "t" still leaves a lot of words. I don't think anyone could figure this out yet.

I plan on making the number one Jam game this time around.
The joke is that it'll be called "The Number One Jam Game" or something stupid like that.

I don't care how bad any game I make is as long as Raocow plays it. Come to think of it, I might make the anti-Raocow game, combining everything he has mentioned that he hates in the videos he does...

He'll only likely play it if it reaches the top 14 or 7 or something.

Also, unfortunately, he doesn't really like it when people reference his existence in things..I think he doesn't like to make that much of an impact on games, I guess. It shouldn't be raocow-focused but like, good-game focused. I don't know, those are my thoughts not his.

My goal with this Jam is to produce a game that nobody would have guessed I'd ever make. Having a cut-in-stone deadline really encourages you to work fast and aim at goals you can achieve, and making a small project trying to master some new game mechanic previously untouched is a fun experience and a good change from messing around with metroidvanias and tRPGs.

But my main goal of the jam, as with previous jams, is to make Simaster so surprised he falls off his chair when he starts the game up for the first time.

Any suggestions? What games would you never expect me to make?

Yeah, a deadline really sharpens the mind! I found that out with my Ludum Dare game this weekend!

Unless the theme was "encopresis"... or something like that.

Lol :P

Perhaps I should try to make an intentionally bad game just to challenge Dadio with making 4 entries... plus I've never intentionally made a bad game (though I did some unintentionally bad games back in the days) so it would be a fun experience.

When you say a "crap game", what parts should I focus on and make as bad as possible? To make it obvious that the game is a really bad game, I mean?

Make sure that pressing left makes you go down, and the player sprite sub images make you get stuck in solid objects.

Make really loud garbled audio. I wear headphones and I especially like when people make the sound as loud as they possibly can.

Ludum Dare turned my brain into jelly. I think I was doing it wrong.

Hmm... I sort of think I could twist this: if you press the button, the player stops stationary but displays the walking animation. After a short while he zooms off at a really high velocity.

Also having bad vertical collision checking so that you fall trough platforms half the time (intentionally again, I place certain objects for those platforms) could also be pretty annoying.

Haha! Well, my brain is certainly jelly today... that's what 6 hours of sleep out of 48 does to you...

I'd play it :D

Personally, I've made platform adventures both time's I've entered the jam. This time, I might try doing something different like... like an arcade shooter! (The problem is, that atmosphereic themes like TV is hinting he chose, work very well with platform adventures.)
