I want to get Studio (eventually), and i read something about a free upgrade from HTML5 to Studio (full version)
Do you guys know anything of this? Is this true or false?

If you buy GameMaker HTML5, I believe you get the base GameMaker Studio with the HTML5 module for free. I think I remember someone saying GameMaker Studio with the HTML5 module will cost $299. So if you want that option it's best to buy GameMaker HTML5 now! I can't imagine the offer will last much longer since GameMaker Studio is close to release!

This is correct. If you buy HTML5 for $99 during the beta period you will get the GMS Core (Windows and Mac) and the HTLM5 module for the $99 you already paid. So essentially you are getting the HTML5 module free.

Well worth it. Although I have yet to figure out how to rewrite some code to make html5 work correctly I purchased it just so I could have the full studio version when it comes out at no extra charge.

This is the only reason I purchased html5. Otherwise I would have waited for studio. Html5 is nice to have but as a bonus to mac and pc in the studio version for free I jumped on board.

This reads like what ought to happen, but is there an official news post anywhere confirming it?This is the only reason I purchased html5. Otherwise I would have waited for studio. Html5 is nice to have but as a bonus to mac and pc in the studio version for free I jumped on board.
