Aren't they the same thing, only with a different extension?

Well, im using Slayer64s project k example

When I try and load a .gmmod or a .gmmod that has been renamed to .d3d I get:

I actually chuckled to myself when I read the title.
I'm pretty sure the terrain In Slayer's project K example needs to be made with his terrain editor (correct me if I'm wrong).
If it were me, I would use P3DC (no, I'm not trying to tell you to change), but how you want to develop your game is entirely up to you

Dont worry, I found out I can import .gmmod into master editor to export it to .d3d
