Possibilities for mmo games?

First off, I know about 39.js, but before I start coding with it I wanted to know what possibilities I got.
Are there any other extensions that could be used for a mmo game(not too massive tough, probably only 20 players at max)?

I dont think Javascript is fast enough for most MMO games. You could get away with a standard turn-based RPG but nothing fast paced like a shooter game.

Maybe Studio will work better, with it supporting android and ios.

Runescape is Java based, not javascript. There's a huge difference there.

He said 20 players max. I'm sure it can handle that.

Just need to see how much information there is being sent back and forth at a time to manage.
