I think most of you will recognize these long-time members who were kind enough to go beyond their normal helpfulness and take it to the next level by dispensing brutal justice upon their former peers.
Also, give a big thanks to our current moderators who have recently been promoted to Global status. They've been such a tremendous asset to the community and now their eyes are everywhere. EVERYWHERE.
Cheers!

All good choices... except for one. You all know who I'm talking about. Yeah, that's the one. The worst choice possible for the GMC.Dangerous_Dave, Desert Dog, IceMetalPunk, Tepi, TheSnidr, True Valhalla, Yal, and YellowAfterlife!
But all the rest are excellent.

As we speak, the new members of the team are being chained to their computers and are watching a video titled "trolling for moderators".

Edit: so that's why the blue color in the left bar looked unfamiliar to me. I thought it was just me.

Really? Do moderators have ban hammers? I thought only administrators could do that. You know that now THAT ONE can ban you.

True. But first, we have to go through the usual "new moderator muscle flexing" period. You know... where each one has to close a topic for no particular reason.Wow, that's a crapload of moderator power! :D Spam will have no opportunity to persist anymore...
But once we're past that phase, it'll be great.

That's why. Keep your head down...Why is Dangerous Dave a moderator... I mean the guy's a self-acclaimed dangerous person.
Congratulations to these people. I have a question. To be a moderator you have to live in UK and near to other moderators or you can be from any country?
Physical location has nothing to do with it. We have people now from Easter Europe, Northern Europe, Australia, America etc etc etc...

There's mods from all over the world.
I live in the UK, but I was made a mod in Canada. There's an amazing amount of North American mods, True Valhalla is from Australia, Yellow Afterlife lives in Ukraine, etc.

Finally a promotion - it only took 7 years :D
Thanks, King Tetiro!

Gmods and Admins have ban hammers. Mods have infinite mod preview, which amounts to the same, really.
