Here are a few things people have been saying about the game:
MMO-Champion


Description:

This is a single-player game that gives you the choice to choose from 4 playable characters. Characters are based off of fantasy classes, such as - Mage , Knight, Priest, Rogue.
There are a total of 50 levels, with 50 being the cap. Each time you kill an enemy, you gain 1 xp. It takes 100 xp to level. You can't gain xp off of creatures 3 levels lower than you.
You Have 4 total spells, but you start off with 2. You gain the 3rd at level 20, and the 4th at level 40.
Each class has a custom resource ability. Each resource regenerates differently, and is used differently. Mage has teleport, Knight has dash, Priest has heal, and Rogue has leech.
There is a debuff system set up in the game, but currently you will only see burn, shock, poison and knockdown. The others is coded in, but not used yet. Debuff icons will appear next
to the spell bar when you have picked one up.

Burn - Ticks down 5 times doing a set amount of damage.
Poison - Randomly ticks down with set damage and can be dropped any time.
Freeze - Frozen for a set amount of time.
Stun - Stunned for a random amount of time.
Shock - Burst of random damage.


There will be a total of 18 main levels, not including cinematic levels, bonus levels, sub levels, or secret levels. 8 of which are coded into the game so far. You can see small icons of each map when
viewing the map in the start menu. These levels (for the most part) will be finished in sequential order, and will be placed in asap.

Controls:

WASD = Movement
Left key = Attack 1 (Does not consume mana)
Down key = Attack 2 (Consumes mana)
Up key = Attack 3 (Consumes mana)
Right key = Attack 4 (Consumes mana)
Space bar = Custom Resource ability
Enter = Start button (Pause)
Shift = Select button (Options)

I loved it! I can't wait to see the next version!

I hope you put more enemies in and possibly the first boss. The only thing I encountered was a strange looping sound on the last level.

Glad to hear you liked it. There are a lot of problems with it, unfortunately. The sound also doesn't start playing on level 1 if you restart the level (doesn't happen always)

Super happy that you enjoyed it. I'll keep polishing away and soon we will have a game. :)

No. I did a kick a can though.


hmmm. It might have got stuck. Sometimes the can gets stuck on an object with collision. Sorry about that!


EDIT - Boss # 1 is looking good. I'll have a new version up soon with lots of changes!

What's up with that certain Country area that ends with a brush of trees in a dead end? Is there a way through it?

There are going to be "sub zones" in each level. Usually filled with more difficult monsters. Although these will not lead anywhere, it's to give the level a sense of 3-D and make it feel less linear. These will all be completely optional, but will most likely have chests or other items at the end.

It's more polished in V3. I added a new type of creature to inhabit that area. "Wood Golems" These reward 5xp per kill

your mage is the weakest class in game imo. He can burst out alot of damage, but im always oom with him. I propose his blink makes his next cast free, i think thats fair since the knight and priest are op.

Try doing a heavy punch, then spamming the light punch. The mage summons a ball with her heavy punch. It stays for a while. That will help you conserve mana.

I will be changing the rogue's special from "kill" to "leech" they will get +1 hp from each target they hit with their special.
