Here's the background story of the game:

50 years ago, there was a great war between the black magic desert tribes in the North and the
dwarves in the frozen lands of the East. This was mainly because of the queens in the two
kingdoms, twin sisters that hated each other, finally tried to annihilate each other. Even
though they were technically twin sisters, they were as different as night and day. The queen of
the desert kingdom, Ashų, had black hair, loved snakes, and typically wore clothes made out of
reptile scales. She had a voice, a presence, that simply made you listen to her. Some would call
it fear, some respect.

Her sister, the queen of the frozen lands to the north, Ihillé, had white hair, mostly wore fur
clothes, and loved bears. She wouldn't express her strong presence with her voice; she would use
her piercing stare. It is said that the court vassals in her castle wore special hoods to not
accidentally look into her eyes.

The great war lasted three years, and it ended in a large battle in a great field called Iamato,
so big it would take three days to walk across. Apparently, one of the queens summoned a dragon
when she was on the verge of losing, but the dragon ended up killing both of the queens in the
progress, together with large parts of both armies. None of the survivors saw what really
happened.

The survivors, many of which were lower officers or priests, agreed to ceasefire once the deaths
of both queens had been confirmed. None of them had any children who could inherit the thrones,
and so the two large kingdoms fell into anarchy and chaos over the course of these 50 years.

A town was constructed where that fatal last battle had taken place, and it was named
Iamataemmėn, meaning "Memory Of Iamato". A large temple was erected in the middle of the town,
right where the dragon had struck, and it was raised in the honor of the dragon since the
survivors believed that the dragon was an incarnation of God, expressing his anger over the two
sisters' reign of hate. A colorful gemstone shaped like a tear had been in the middle of the
destruction, oddly enough unharmed by the fire and explosions, and it was dubbed subsequently
dubbed "God's Tear". The remains of the two queens and the holy Tear was sealed inside the
temple catacombs and the story eventually became a legend.

Now, 50 years later.
An unknown force attacks from the West, and the animals are turned into vile monsters, friends
turn into enemies, and the rivers are colored red with blood. Iamatammėn is under siege, and it
seems like there's no hope. The people has taken cover in the temple, prepared to desperately
pray until they're killed within it. But suddenly, a big crack appears in the seal to the
catacombs; the entire seal turns to dust before the eyes of the shocked people. When the dust
settles, a lone young girl stands in the middle of the passage.

Her hair is gray.

The gray-haired girl (who should wear noble clothing and stuff) is related to the two
dead queens. She's the third sister of their family, and she got locked away, because there was a prophecy.
She got sealed away because her sisters was jealous; the propecy was that the gray-haired sister
would kill her twin sisters and become the supreme ruler, and to prevent that the twins sealed her away in
the gem that would be known as the "God's Tear". One question here is "Why didn't they just kill her?".
The gray-haired sister was born immortal and she's impossible to kill and lives
forever.

As for how the playable part of the game should begin, the player
chooses a name on his own so that in practice you're playing as a background story-less
character that's basically you. The player is one of the survivors in the temple.
The gray-haired girl would lead all the survivors out via the catacombs; they'd have a secret
(sealed) exit somewhere outside Iamataemmėn. Somewhere fairly soon during the walking, the enemy
bursts into the catacombs after having gotten into the city, and the survivors panic and get
separated. The player would end up falling down into some sort of low pit (but too deep to just
walk/jump out of) together with two other townspeople, and here's where the gameplay starts with
the tutorial dungeon. One of the two "first party member" characters should point out something
about the gray-haired girl seeming important and that you should try to find her before the
enemies do.

The enemies are attacking because they want the "God's Tear" gem. Of course, they could
really be after the gray-haired girl (that'd be a good plot twist, when some important enemy
reveals her real properties and why she's so important). The bad guy is
actually the twins' fourth sister... each of the twins sealed a part of theirself into
a crystal, and now when both sisters have died their sealed parts somehow managed to unseal
themselves.

If you're interested, pm me asap!
