Ah, that explains why I didn't notice until now.

Just curious: did you guys pick your forum assignments?

For the most part, yes. Several were initially selected as candidates for specific forums, and I think they all agreed they were good matches that they already had them in mind for themselves. Beyond that, wherever they volunteered, they were assigned. Some prodding was needed for a couple of forums that were coming up short, and some more may be required. But we've got a lot of active global moderators now to help fill in the gaps too.

The new moderators have been eager to take on their assignments, but it took a little longer than I would have liked for me to finalize them. Restaffing is always very time-consuming, especially with so many transitions (around 25 in all, I think).
