Hello, me again.
So, after recently virta-slapping somebody on these forums for being lazy, I began to think. I've been ranting about Mass Effect 4 for a while now... putting forward suggestions and what-not. I'm an Indie Game Developer, I can do this myself.
So, with a little community support and the lack of a C&D from Bioware, I'm more than happy to make a Mass Effect 4 fangame. Of course, by this I mean, 2D RPG set in the Mass Effect universe, roughly following the storyline in the link below:
http://social.biowar...0042/1#10200042
I'm by no means under the illusion that this will be easy, a short term project or simple, as if I'm going to do this, I want to relive the entire Mass Effect experience and I'd want you all to relive that too.
So let's start small, if 10 of you guys say you want this, I'll get to work on some mock ups, show you guys what I'm capable of artistically and a little preview of what kind of quality you can expect from me. So how about it? Can I get 10 of you?
(Of course, I own no rights to the Mass Effect brand, and while fangames are usually fine, if Bioware does send me a C&D then this is over. I'm sure Bioware are glad they have sure dedicated fans though, right?)

Seriously, what happened to that overly ambitious Pokémon project you had before? I'm fairly sure it crashed because you bit off more than you could chew. I think you should start out small, make a short RPG project you think you can finish in 3 months (which would mean that you'll likely finish it after 9 months-a year) and if you think you can; expand it.
The solution for a Mass Effect game would be procedural generation. Using a set seed and a motherseed->planetseed->area seed mechanism, you could easily make a game with 300 or so planets if you only get an engine that lets you add content (items, monsters, characters, etc) very easily. You could try out my (unfinished) SisEngine for that since it's designed to let you add content quickly: http://gmc.yoyogames...howtopic=529533

This is a terrible idea. You don't own Mass Effect. It isn't yours. Who are you to say what Mass Effect 4 should be like?
What's more, people will think you're participating in some kind of fraudulence.
Make a tribute to Mass Effect. A 2D science-fiction RPG which shares many of the elements of Mass Effect. But set it in your own fictional world. And don't call it Mass Effect 4.
Personally, I do not feel that "Let's Make Mass Effect 4" counts as a game idea or design. Where are the moderators?

Actually, I didn't even mean to post this here.
Also, the Pokemon project is still ongoing, although I'm having serious problems with the battle system at the moment... I keep getting hit with 10,000+ attacks for some reason.
As for this, whilst I know I'm already developing 3 other RPG's, this is just the way I work, I run into a stop on one project and work on another until I can think of a solution. Yes, it may take a little longer but this means I can generally release 2 or 3 half decent RPGs at once.
